Oy, Contessa Brewer is such an airhead

She's on Ed Schultz's radio show, expressing her disgust at people's complaints of wall-to-wall Balloon Boy coverage.

"Why do people watch sports all the time? They want to be entertained" is her theory on how news shows should work.

"These people who are complaining probably only eat vegetables and read War and Peace"

Ugh. And people like this are deciding what we get to hear as news.

She's the two dumbest people on MSNBC.

Alex Witt is witless, but even she can get through a sentence better than Contessa. I've always wondered how she was able to hang onto a job at MSNBC, and concluded she has to have someone she's kin to giving her that job and keeping her in it. Even if they're paying her minimum wage, she's overpaid.

If I want entertainment there is a myriad of channels to choose. When I choose a news station, I would like to see news, not entertainment.
