Not a single soldier's funeral, but you were all over this one. I'm not saying that your presence was inappropriate. I have an opinion on that issue, but that's not what my post is about.

Of course it is easy for us to overlook the possibly hundreds of thousands of Iraqi deaths. It's human nature to care more about what happens in our backyards. I do it and I'm a dyed in the wool yellow dog liberal Democrat.

But please, Mr, President, attend the funeral of a a fallen SUPPORTER, even, who died in Iraq or Afghanistan. Feel the pain of her parents or children or brothers and sisters. Witness Fred Phelps psychotic media circus if his "flock" of performance artists shows up.

Get in touch, Mr. President. Please, just get in touch.

3. Attending a soldier's funeral.....
wouldn't do a thing for his popularity numbers. Remember, everything is political to these people. If they can't make it pay politically then they're not going to do it. Hey, it was a great photo-op for Bush. The networks are fawning all over him tonight. He's SUCH a strong leader, you know? :eyes:

4. You are far more generous than I.
I withheld the benefit of the doubt from this fucker the INSTANT he uttered that smarmy little "joke" about how "it'd be a lot easier to govern if this was a dictatorship, just so long as I'm the dictator." Oh how RIPPINGLY adorable you are, georgie-poo. NOT!!!! Don't you have someplace ELSE to blight?

I put a mention of this outrage in my latest column.

5. Right! Why should bush, after over 3000
dead Soldiers and hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis AND Fascist style dictataship in the USA, get any "benefits of the doubt"?

Righteous rant in your column!

8. And if he did?
He would be criticized for that too, for politicizing it. Anyone here want to bet that I'm wrong?

Ya know, Bush might suck eggs, but the guy can't win for losing, damned if he does/damned if he doesn't.

10. You are way too kind.
This president passed the "benefit of the doubt" stage for me when he stole the 2000 election. Nothing he does or says is genuine or worthwhile, ever.

He is completely worthless.
