Video of VT convocation (Gov Kaine, Bush, Nikki G et al)

Compare Gov. Kaine's moving oratory, read from the heart and without notes, to Bush's tired, flat speech. Also, Nikki Giovanni's amazing address is at the end. Notice how when Bush & Laura leave, nothing happens -- no applause.

1. I was very impressed by Governor Kaine, he spoke to the students

and praised their behavior - telling them how much he admired them. He was sincere and personal.

2. Kaine continues to impress

My daughter said his speech today really helped to lift the kids' spirits. He's an excellent speaker -- he gave a wonderful commencement address last year at the U of Virginia commencement. He's a new star on the Democratic Party horizon.
