The contract is signed, ladies and gentleman, this thing is really going to happen. No one is disclosing cash figures yet, but it's more than the $25,000 he was originally offered. And there might be wang! Levi's handler Tank Jones confirmed for us that the contract with Playgirl is signed and that the shoot will take place in the next couple of weeks here in New York.

A date hasn't been set yet, but it's most likely going to be the first weekend in November. Jones said the shoot will take place in a studio, but that they want to do some shots outside as well, weather permitting. New York in November—those are going to be some perky man nipples!

Jones confirmed what we reported before, that there's nothing about how much Levi will or will not show in the contract, but he said that Levi is "fearless" and he'll "do what he wants to do" and that he's "90% sure there will be nudity...I'm talking the front. Letting the whole thing hang out."

Jones confirmed that they payday is more than the $25,000 Playgirl originally offered. When asked if the online magazine ponied up more cash or came up with some other sort of incentive, he said, "A little bit of both." Since they're offering that kind of money, we're sticking with our assumption that it will be more than an underwear shoot. That Tank keeps alluding to Levi showing penis and is "90% sure" we'll see the kid's hunting rifle makes us hopeful, but 90% is not 100% so we're hedging our bets until the actual shoot.

In other Levi news, Jones said that he's working on a book about the Palin family. "There's a whole lot of material he hasn't talked about because he wanted to protect the family," Jones says. But since the Palin's have been talking trash about him, Levi isn't keeping quiet anymore. "The gloves are off, everything is going to come out." While we don't want a body double for this shoot, we certainly hope there is going to be a ghostwriter for this book!

It's not like she's never badmouthed him before, and like you said, everyone would know what a cad he is and it would completely blow his credibility. The fact that she hasn't said anything about it makes me believe he probably is contributing.

I've heard nothing about the boy being a bad father, monetarily or otherwise. In fact, I've only heard positive things about him as a father. Why is Bristol Palin entitled to ANY of the money he makes, no matter how he makes it? As long as he meets the financial obligations to his child, he doesn't owe her a fucking thing.

Given the fact that Bristol's mother is currently whoring herself out for every fucking cent she can get, and that her family is far, far wealthier than Levi Johnston is, I find it more than a little distasteful to insinuate that Johnston is some sort of deadbeat dad. Which is what the poster is suggesting. Otherwise, why would Palin be entitled to one cent of Johnston's Playgirl money?

Bristol was exactly as much at fault for getting herself knocked up as Johnston was, and she is in a much better position financially to take care of her baby. Frankly, I don't understand the bile toward a young man who's only crime is being quite dumb, and who was ill-used by that conniving whore and her sleazy family...a family far sleazier than Levi Johnston, Playgirl shoot and all.

I just can't believe Sarah wouldn't say so at every opportunity if he wasn't.

Did a quick Google, and on a Larry King appearance back in April, Johnston said he is NOT paying child support. Apparently, he and Bristol have not been to court, and he has not been legally required to pay any. He says that he "has everything a boy needs at home...diapers, toys, etc", but that the Palins won't let him see his son anywhere but there own house.

I have no idea what the current status is; Levi appeared with Tripp in the Vanity Fair shoot, so, at least THIS time, they let him take his son (and I have no doubt the Palins got paid for THAT shoot). I couldn't find anything after April about Levi going to a lawyer or paying support

The baby is clearly well-provided for financially by his mother's family, however, I'll admit that I'm a little disappointed in Johnston. I certainly never expected him to be a sterling example of manly responsibility, but I really believed he wasn't quite THAT white trash. Stupid, yes, but I thought he had a little more morality than he apparently does.

Oh, well. I'm still glad he's getting nekkid, and I still don't think Bristol deserves any of his money, at least until they work out a visitation schedule and have a court decide what he should pay (if they haven't done so already).

Maybe Bristol is waiting to sue for support until after he makes some serious money so she can get a larger judgement. Who knows. But apparently the situtation, whatever it is, is acceptable to Bristol at this time. If it weren't, she'd have already taken him to court.

He may be "dumb", but he's smart enough to know that getting tangled up with the dysfunctional Palin family is bad news.

I sincerely wish him well. I hope he makes a bunch of money, has tons of fun, and sets his future course on his own terms.

I've felt bad for him since the campaign and I saw him at a debate and he looked so miserable and trapped.

I've seen interviews too, he doesn't seem like a bad sort. I'd bet in a couple years after everything's calmed down, he'll be working in a factory or on a fishing boat, seeing his kid on the weekends and trying to live the American life. I don't wish anything bad on him.

So called "hicks" are the last group that so called "progressives" can bash and feel good about themselves while doing it.
