Are we going to have to accept the fact that any unstable person can have a gun?
Where are we really going America? Are we going to make it so that *everyone* needs to be armed in case Joe at work gets pissed enough that he's going to start a shooting spree and some innocent bystander will be required to take Joe out? Is that what this is coming to? If so, get ready for a real bloodbath. Because every other person who gets pissed off at someone is going to feel justified at shooting someone and then the gun battles will occur every day in this country (not that they don't already). But it will become more prevalent if talking points from the right such as "EVERYONE should be armed" get through as the solution.

I mean really. Is that what you *really* want? Because if that is the case, then there are going to be a lot of unhappy people, regardless of political party or orientation, is going to lose someone they know to this nonsense of a "right to bear arms". People, in general, should *not* have the right to bear arms for any reason. The right to bear arms in the Constitution is what it says it is: the RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS... in defense of the NATION. The right to use WEAPONS to DEFEND the homeland. It is not a right to own a gun and point it at anyone who steps on your porch who you feel like threatening.

If this is what you really want America, to have A GUN IN EVERY HAND, then all I have to say is be prepared. Be prepared for the events like Columbine and Virginia Tech to happen on a much more frequent basis. You think its bad now, you ain't seen nothing yet. It may just make an honest man out of all the republican politicians who say Baghdad is as safe as any American town... it could become true if we do this.

2. What we need is

to arm the students so they can "take out" any would-be murderer...and after class is over and the frat parties begin then the real fun starts. I mean, nothing bad can come from 18, 19, 20 year olds + massive amounts of booze + guns....G.Gordon Liddy and the gut nuts don't see ANYTHING wrong with loading up facilities with a bunch of young and (sometimes) drunk children with guns.

14. You were talking about the right of citizens to vote.
Don't change the subject just because I'm right.

6. Bottom line: Gunners are single issue voters, gun control advocates are not...

15. I'm just repeating what gunners have told us over and over ad nauseum....
"Democrats need to drop all gun law planks from their platforms because, in close elections, the pro-gun minority will decide their vote simply on the candidate's stance on guns."

Are you now saying that's wrong...

12. I'm sure many are already buying guns and ammo for bigger massacres
Wait till one of these freaks shows how to really use an assault rifle or a 50,cal Barret. Maybe that's what it will take, a triple digit killing. I'm sure many are buying guns and ammo for it right now.

How many more incidents like this before we all become single issue voters? If we don't change to the proven gun regulations Europe, Australia, Canada have, then we are all accomplices.

13. Anyone who wants a gun can get one, no matter what.
Heroin is banned, nationally.

So is speed and all of of its derivatives.

As is reefer.

And them brown-skinned ones who dont have no papers.

But all of that is here, everywhere.

And so there will remain the availability of just about any kind of firearm to just about any one.
