President Obama isn't even going to Copenhagen to sign anything. He has also made an entirely different framework than the one proposed at Copenhagen.

I read the treaty. My answer to our being coerced to signing away anything is Bollocks! That is such a stretch in interpreting a clause here and there, that it becomes an entirely different document.

I can only assume that you have worked yourself into a lather over the election and every minute move supposedly made. You are going to wear yourself out, and give yourself a heart attack.

I may be politically on the other end of the spectrum, but I don't intend to give anybody a blank check. I don't trust the government now any more than I did under GWB. I make up my own mind from a variety of sources, and don't screech at every shadow.

BTW I didn't like GWB worth a damn, but I worked through the process and VOTED. I didn't arm myself to the teeth and threaten to revolt. GWB was my president, but I worked through the constitutional process to try another way.

People have used every idea under the sun to oppose the results of the election. This country has withstood a lot, and the processes set up by the Founding Fathers have worked and gotten this country through very hard times.

I have more trust in following that process than I do in a bunch of hooligans with no better idea than a half-assed rebellion that would leave everything destroyed and under somebody's gun. It wouldn't necessarily be the government's. I have no desire to be under theirs or ANYONE ElSES.

She responded that "Yeah, THEY say Obama is trying to raise the taxes on them". I guess I had had all the "they say" I could stand, because I told her it was total bullshit. I also told her the President was not trying to take away her guns. I told her I was so tired of ill informed people repeating what they heard from this Church member or that friend. I told her she needed to stop watching Fox propaganda and become informed. I usually keep my tongue, but she sent me over the edge with that one. In the end she agreed that much she hears proves to be untrue.
