need a little advice / help / info regarding my new job
For the past 12-13 years the majority of the drafting I did was in the manufacturing field. Drawing valves, nuts/bolts, circuit boards and various parts for a product

My new job involves structural steel, at the moment it's detailing steel. The last time I did anything remotely connected to this was in school, 14 years ago.

I'm looking for recommendations for books (inexpensive books - the cheaper the better) on structural steel drafting. I've "googled" for books on it, but most are in the $70-$100 range.

any suggestions?

1. Have you tried ebay?
I get a lot of my books there (not structural steel drafting books though, I don't even know what that is) but you'd be surprised what you can find there. People sell everything there. A friend of mine makes about $5,000 a year selling used books in his spare time on ebay. Check it out, you never know.

5. Check for a local college book store...
If it's a text, they often have used copies. There are used book stores around here, maybe there too? Ebay is another option.
