Was one of the biggest critcs of Bill Clinton's BJ in the democratic party. Al's political advisers thought it was a good idea to distance himself from the Clenis.

And that's the only thing I've got against Al: He should have known better than to listen to those guys.

Probably would have won by an uncheatable margin if he'd been himself and ignored the image people.

9. Might have been worth it
I think it would have been an uphill battle in the sense that the opposition would already have a ton of garbage ready to throw at him from last time, including the SoreLoserman crap.

That stuff shouldn't matter, of course, but you know how those guys play.

Gore eventually saw the error of his ways and distanced himself from DLC. Liebershit did not.
