2. I hate you
Cracked.com is an endless maze of intriguing links and you sent me there when I have work to do.

:hi:

6. Damn isn't that the truth!
I'm a total victim for their top-ten lists. I never go to cracked.com unless I have about 90 hours to waste.

4. The only "news" we would get would be Fuck News and its co-conspirators. There would be
NO chance to turn things around.

12. Me either.
Once I did, though, I couldn't stop laughing. Hands down, the absolute BEST. A deserving winner.

Some of the other entries were too reminiscent of what we actually used to do pre-Internet to be funny. Such as using public whiteboards for "discussions." Anyone remember going to college back in the days when everyone had to have an erasable marker board on their dorm-room door so people could leave you messages when you weren't there? Because, of course, it wasn't like they could call or text you on your cell, or leave a message on the answering machine on the land-line phone in your room, to get in touch with you--there were no cell phones, and few people even had a land-line phone in their rooms (and if they did, they still didn't have one of those newfangled answering machines on it). Most people made and received phone calls on the floor pay phones. Ah, the good old days.

How quaint the concept of a "dorm room door erasable board" seems now, but it was once an absolute essential of college life. Why, the style you bought even made a "statement" about the residents of the room, so there were zillions to choose from. And sometimes people would have little "conversations" or "arguments" on it, too--maybe not to the extent they do on online forums, but they would have them.

Same thing with writing notes in books. I still have a copy of the Oxford Anthology from my college days that's chockful of notes my friend and I scribbled back and forth to each other in the margins during class. If we were in college today, we would be texting those notes to each other. And they'd be lost forever.
