1. Neither.
I want someone who can win the general election and I don't see any of our so-called front-runners pulling in the swing-Bubba vote like B. Clinton did. Heck, even Al Gore pulled in a lot of that - just not enough in his home state to make Florida a moot point.

6. Yes what we need is a sellout candidate
That way the south will like us. Because without the south we are nothing. All praise the retrograde south, the heart of America.

5. They both have their strengths and weaknesses
Obama obviously can draw a crowd, and seems to inspire people. Great speaker. Not as great of an interview. His race and name will cost him some votes, and not just from far right nutjobs. He is a senator, which doesn't seem to work very well in Pres. elections. Non-southerns haven't worked well in the last few elections either. He will be attacked for "lack of experience" and having "no substance."

Edwards draws less of a crowd but is still a good speaker, good interview. He is white and from the south, which has worked well in previous elections. I don't think he would win NC, which is unfortunate. I think he will also be attacked for "lack of experience."

Obama has been more consistently anti-war, but I think the people who will vote exclusively on that are few and far between. Hence, an unapologetic IWR voter (Hillary) leads the Dem primary polls, and warmongers like Dame Rudy and Weathervane McCain lead the Repubs.

Both of their wives are assets.
