6. There was a magician that had that part in his act...

I'm trying to remember his name, but his assistante (his wife) was kinda of a klutz and ruined a trick for him. He sends her off-stage and does a couple of more tricks, then she comes back on with a coil of garden hose and a golf ball and squeaks "Look! I did it!". Then he winks at the audience and says "And that's why I haven't fired her!"

Look, this SHOULD be a no-brainer...

Lose a Democratic primary and then run against the Dem candidate, you're a pariah.

Campaign for the Republican candidate in a Presidential election, you're a pariah.

Vote with Republicans on important issues (and threaten to vote against something like the public option...which the Democratic President supports), you're a pariah.

Does any of that happen? No.

Lieberman gets coddled by the Democratic party because he might decide to vote like a Democrat at some point...and that's bullshit.
