That's one shade short of a swastika.

1. Alex Jones is a scary right-winger
I didn't know he was anti-vaccine (is this all vaccines or just the swine flu?) but he is certainly politically very scary.

3. I live in Canada...
And my hometown is very politically illiterate, so in a way I'm impressed people even know who he is.

7. So I take it you're not from Ottawa originally
Difficult to be politically illiterate there.

with the antivaccination crazy people volunteering to go first.

4. It will just leave more vaccine for the rest of us. I have diabetes.
No amount of hysteria will stop me from taking it. Anyone with an underlying immune system issues desperately want to avoid being sick.

8. Two kids have died in the past couple of days in my area..
A 13-year-old went from being mildly ill to dead in a few hours, and he was on his way to playing major junior hockey in a couple of years.

The other one is a 10-year-old school girl with no known history of immune problems or chronic illness.

16. Yes, it is getting very worrisome. We are still waiting for it here in CT.
When relatively healthy people die it can be very scary. My daughter has asthma too. I am very worried about the two of us.

5. Maybe you should point them to some of Alex's other insane diatribes...
Just so they can see what he's all about.

On the other hand, maybe not. They might take those at face value, too.

6. I don't think Nazi is an apt comparison for Alex
Crazy conspiracy theorist, yes. Nazi, not really.

10. The far-right analogy is viable...
I was showing a former coworker, a socially liberal Muslim who had gotten onto the anti-Obama conspiracy theories through this guy, examples of racist and anti-Muslim authors that are routinely published by the World Net Daily and other sources Alex Jones uses to "support" his arguments.

12. Yes and Nazis use Nietze to support their arguments
it doesn't mean that Nietze was a Nazi.

The guy is a government/big business conspiracy theorist that thinks the government is planning to wipe out all but 500,000,000 people in the world. He isn't really a Nazi.

There are DUers that share his views on the federal reserve, bilderberg group and tri-lateral commission....just not his conclusions.

Alan Grayson was on his show last week.

Asking people to read the economic report on GDP from the government and make their own conclusions using critical thinking skills.

9. That's a very sad self-thinning of the herd...
Nature might be finding a seriously scary way to scrape the barnacles off her hull.

I hate that I just said that... but these people are stupid to a fault, and they risk their own lives.

I'm not in any risk group, so I'm not concerned for myself.

13. If the government is doing something,
Alex Jones is against it. He's sure there's a nefarious purpose behind just about anything coming out of Washington. He's probably afraid the vaccine will turn us all into lizard people -- David Icke is a frequent guest on his show. Alex has read/watched way too much science fiction.

15. That makes me wish I could get the shot
Right now it looks like I am not going to be able to in my area. Alex Jones irritates me, he is simply "anti" to be anti. Everyone is evil according to Jones. Just scare tactics. He will throw out some big story about the US getting hit in another false flag operation then when it doesn't happen he says it is because he and his ilk publicized it. I feel like he has such a negative influence that if younger people get sucked into what he is selling they won't want to participate in our Democracy or even see any hope for the future.

for the H1N1 vaccine where it's available. As usual, the Limbeckers say one thing, but do the other. They're lining up, too.
