Reaching out to our injured Vets as they return home
https://www.vetshealing.org/

Our President did something the last administration refused to do. He acknowledged the ultimate sacrifice made by members of the military and their families. War and combat are about the loss of life and limb and the hurt soul. When making a decision to send our troops into this morass, time and thought need to be given to it fully.

But like no other war before, we have injured Vets returning with obvious visual injuries, and then injuries that are not visible and just as traumatic.

This is not about agreeing or disagreeing with a war or military move. This is about loving and caring for those who volunteered to be in the military.

You don't get to pick and choose where you go and what war you fight. But hopefully you will get the medical treatment needed for all the types of injuries inflicted in combat

I have just learned of this organization. I hope it succeeds in helping with the injuries not visible, but just as traumatic to the individual, and their families

Thank you so much for posting this.

We should all be able to agree on this... regardless of our personal feelings about this war, or war in general.
