Still at step 1. The House bill will be introduced on the floor by late next week, maybe.

Just goes to show, when it's *really* important the process can move a bit more rapidly.

7. Did you know they first started talking about this in 1920's? Medicare was
first discussed in 1937.

12. I've heard that ,yes.. Don't know the details..
I do know that Nixon was looking at universal health care and tabled it for obscure political reasons.
