Something that just occured to me
In the 1990s, we had the worst terrorist attack and school shooting in US history (at the time). This decade, we've had a terrorist attack and a school shooting that have far surpassed the ones last decade. Makes me nervous as to what the 2010s have in store, especially since I could very well have kids and/or work in an office building by then.

1. You know how people were encouraged in the nineties to report
suspicious schoolmates? What a perfect way for the neocons in control to cultivate a resource for "diversion" on demand.

3. More guns, more stress, more surveillance, less mental health care
safety nets: Buckle those seat belts tight, it's going to get bumpier from here on out.

2. Just proves the point, that there is no place in the world where a person is 100% safe
100% of the time. That's why all of Bush's 'the terrorists are coming to get you' is just so much bunk and nothing more than a way to control the citizens. You are just as likely to die at the hand of a co-worker as you are a middle eastern terrorist. You could be struck by a drunk driver tomorrow or a hurricane could get you.

Things aren't getting more dangerous as time passes. The worst incident involving school children was in 1927 in Bath, Michigan. There was the Johnstown flood and the Tri-state tornado. Americans are good at killing each other and have been since our founding.

4. Right
Despite these increasingly bad killings, I refuse to live in fear. If you do that, you may as well be dead anyway.

5. That's the key point. Our grandparents would think we are incredibly

weak and frightened.
