Is Rove busy deleting the BlackBerry e-mail servers?
http://www.engadget.com/2007/04/18/blackberry-email-still-down-withdrawal-setting-in/#comments

People here were talking about how Waxman should subponea the RIM e-mail servers for copies of e-mails sent through Rove and Co's BlackBerries.
It could be that if and when they receive notice to pass along those e-mails, they will simply reply that their copies disappeared in the breakdown of 04.18.07.

3. Aren't those RIM servers located in Canada too ?
I hear there has been a 'shut down' of the blackberry servers in today's interenet news. Hmmm.

""It's all part of a growing ongoing investigation into corruption in defense and intelligence contracts, which already has sent former Rep. Randy “Duke” Cunningham to prison and, legal sources say, may threaten others in Congress and the CIA. ""

Shouldn't Dems be speaking to the Canadians re securing those servers ?

5. Charlie Wilson sez. at that link...
Former U.S. Rep. Charlie Wilson says he played poker at the Watergate suite a few times. He says he certainly never saw any prostitutes or anything untoward.

"The nearest lawbreaking I saw when I was there was that they were smoking cigars on a non-smoking floor," says Wilson. "It was an ordinary stag poker game, a lot of cigar smoke, a lot of whiskey."

If you read the book, "Charlie Wilsons War", you'll find that the good Congressman was renowned for his carousing, drinking, cocaine, and very close ties to the CIA during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan.

Move along, nothing to see here folks.

8. That's the post I remember seeing.
Does anyone know if the committee was aware of the possibility that RIM might have a copy of the mails sent through their servers?
As someone comments under they do have the motive, because god knows what else might also be in those e-mails.
As for the opportunity, it is not unreasonable to believe that the CIA has the ability to do such data destruction actions anywhere in the world.

7. They have the motive and the means
All they have to do is say it's for national security and the companies involved wouldn't be able to talk about it. No doubt there are security agreements with the government in Canada.

The Bush administration will do whatever it sees as necessary to survive.
