FReeper discussing genocide as an option against Muslims

Surrender, Genocide… or What?
http://gatesofvienna.blogspot.com/2008/04/surrender-genocide-or-what.html ^ | El Inglés

Posted on Saturday, October 31, 2009 8:36:52 PM by ventanax5

A few months ago, I wrote “The Danish Civil War”, a fictional scenario which served to structure a consideration of various issues relating to the rise of Islam in Europe and the likely consequences thereof. The essay finished with the conclusion that Islam constituted an existential threat to the survival of European civilization, and that Islam’s influence on Europe therefore needed to be eliminated. It further concluded that, logically speaking, the various ways of achieving this goal could be broadly subdivided into three categories:

1) inducing Muslims to leave of their own free will, 2) mass deportations, and 3) genocide.

(Hereinafter referred to as options one, two and three, respectively)

This final conclusion was delivered as dispassionately as possible due to a desire to present the situation objectively, as if an alien super-intelligence were viewing the conflicts of various warring tribes of hairless apes. If I am correct in arguing that the number of Muslims in Europe must be reduced to no more than a fraction of its current value, then the three options I discussed are the only three options for achieving this goal. We may consider all three to be morally abhorrent and decide to submit to Islam rather than avail ourselves of any of them, but that does not alter the brute analysis of what could, in principle, be done in response to the Islamization of Europe...

Emphasis added

Maybe this Freeper could organize a conference to discuss his options. Perhaps at the Wannsee?

(I have a screencap of this. PM me if you want a copy)

Blame them for everything and foment hate against them.

At least we don't call for genocide.

and I know I don't.

I just wish the worst of their lot would stop telling us "MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY!"

8. Define hate then
If I said even a small amount of what has been said here about any group (other than christians) I would be called a hater, bigot, etc.

Go through and repost all the threads about catholics/christians and replace the terms with jews/muslims (or judaism/islam if you will) and see how many people accuse you of being a bigot, fomenting hate, etc.

Seems like pointing out the failings of some is ok, but not others.

As an example - point out how dominionists want to take over certain areas, show how they have gotten into certain areas of government, talk about their bible studies and prayer groups and you get recs and kicks.

Say the same things about folks who practice Judaism and you are suddenly an anti-Semite, helping along hatred which folks fear will lead to violence (unless it is a group we don't like, then it is not promoting violence but telling the truth).

Hate Christians? NO I don't think people hate the people who call themselves such, I think they hate the religion and like those on the right who hate islam paint all who are of that faith the same way.

Difference is, it is PC to say it against some groups and not others.

Try to post a thread about Judaism or Islam here bashing it - either will be locked, deleted, or others will bring up Christians and say 'well they are no better' instead of staying on topic about the particular group. Bring up a thread bashing Christians, and you won't see people jumping in about Islam, Judaism, etc and saying they are just as bad (though some will say all religions, which does cover them - though I doubt they would mention them by name).

So what is hate? When you call out a group of religious fundies and how they use their power/group to benefit themselves? If so then why do get all shy when it comes to any other group than Christians?

44. Do you realise yr contradicting yrself?
Hate Christians? NO I don't think people hate the people who call themselves such, I think they hate the religion and like those on the right who hate islam paint all who are of that faith the same way.

You went and contradicted the first part of yr sentence in yr haste to draw attention away from the fact that there are people out there advocating genocide against Muslims and turn it into some pity-party thing about Christians....

For goodness sake. Whatever happened to goddam common-sense? As an atheist I refuse to get all warm and fuzzy about any religion, and that includes the religion I was brought up in, Christianity. I don't respect a religion that discriminates against women, gays and which would rather see women in Africa die than allow them to use birth control. If you want to call it hate, so be it, I really couldn't care less, though the correct term would be that I *detest* organised religion. That goes every bit the same for the other monotheistic religions, Judaism and Islam. Where I draw the line is when people start abusing other people because of what religion they are, which is why, unlike you, my first reaction to reading the OP was being absolutely appalled that people in this day and age are sitting there calmly discussing the pros and cons of something that would be very similar to the Holocaust. Which leads me to another thing. Christians in the US aren't and have never been discriminated against or persecuteed. Both Jews and Muslims have been victims (with Jews it's a thing that's gone on through history and culminating in the genocide of European Jewry, and with Muslims, it's the recent wave of hatred and bigotry against Muslims, especially immigrants, that has been embraced by the extreme RW in the US, Europe and the UK). Rational folk tend to get a bit sensitive about expressions of hatred towards Muslims and Jews, while I can't recall seeing any expressions of hatred or calls for genocide of those poor, oppressed American Chrstians....

Finally, as I said before, I'm an atheist who detests organised religion. How dare you make a sweeping accusaton like that against us! For some reason I seem to pick up a variety of devout Christians in my real-life circle of friends, and while a few of them are the missionary type who go off to other countries to try to get the little kiddies into Christianity, I definately don't hate my friends, and we have an understanding that if they don't try to push their religious views on me, I won't pay them back by harping on at them how religion is nothing but a fairy-tale designed to make humans feel better about themselves...

Our problem is with Christians who want to create a religious police state; their problem is with Muslims whose main aim in life is to get their kids to the hockey game.

But also cultural aggression. The bottom line is that you don't move to another country and then in gratitude for them giving you citizenship, start carving out "no go" zones and filing lawsuits.

27. Heh...I'm not too bothered...
One time, a bunch of right-wing Muslim extremists attempted to take over the Toronto District School Board by running on a stridently anti-gay platform (they didn't like that kids were to be taught about homophobic bullying); they polled so poorly that even if every single one of their voters were Muslim, it would have been a pitiful sliver of the area's Muslim population.

29. This is more like what i was talking about
http://www.csmonitor.com/2005/1206/p07s02-woeu.html

In September, another Islamist website claiming to speak for Ansar Al-Sunna, the Iraqi terrorist group, said the group had established "a small isolated training camp in southern Sweden."

"We wish to inform the Ummah," said the website, referring to the global Islamic community, "that the Army of Ansar Al-Sunnah in Sweden are well-trained to defend our holy countries ... having established a Mujahideen training camp, located in Skane ... with the help from Allah."

The website's authors claimed that the camp would only be used to train fighters for combat abroad. However they also promised to "capture and punish" the Swedish Evangelist preacher Runar Sogaard who in March called Islam's Prophet Mohammad a "pedophile" for marrying a girl who, according to many Muslim traditions, was only 9 years old.

19. SO are you saying that if a minority group becomes a majority, then it's OK to trash them?
Just trying to get clear on the dynamic. You see, I feel we should be able to be open and honest with our feelings about Christians, and Jews, and Muslims, and any other religion. But apparently not everyone agrees, as I found out earlier today when I said that I didn't understand why anyone would adopt an oppressive religion that was exotic to his culture and race and introduced to his culture and race through conquest and slavery.

28. Real Christians are just ignored.
Only the wacko "Christian" right gets listened to these days. There is a large body of Christians like myself who believe in social justice and things like Single Payer Health care based on our faith. Our faith drives us to get active to try to defend the poor and helpless. At the same time, I cherish secular government and only seek to instill ethical values (like health care for all) that do not violate another person's moral conscience to choose their beliefs for themselves. Many have been led astray from this path, but we as a party can and should lead them back.

23. And that is all you got?
And, from your cartoon above, who said anything at all about Christians being repressed?

I was talking more about the double standard we see when discussing religion.

Perhaps you wanted the easy way out and chose the 'Christians are a majority here and cannot possibly be repressed' route.

Which has nothing to do with what I was saying at all.

It is about being consistent on a topic.

Go ahead - post a thread about Christian fundies and their influence in government, or schools, movies (ie, their attempt to influence films, cussing, etc.)

Then later post a thread about those who practice Judaism and their influence in government, schools, or movies. See what happens.

People will rip you for the later and call you a hater - even if true.

When does it become hate and when is it being concerned about the influence of a group on issues?

I, for one, DO worry about the influence of religious (and ideological) people in such arenas.

And you can check my posting history and see that I have not given Christians a pass. But why do we give others one here?

Are Christians oppressed in the US as a whole? I never said they were.

I was talking about here on DU - and compared to other faiths here, they are.

So I will await yours and others' posting on the problems with Judaism and Islam - and I can be certain that the former will be moved to another area.

Read up on the social and criminal problems in Sweden and Denmark. You may not want to attribute them to the nationality or religion of the people who define the group, but those groups are identifiable by religion and ethnicity.

Anyone who blames crime or social problems on one specific religion or cultural group is engaging in bigotry towards that group. Having seen you pollute the I/P forum where you accuse people who legitimately criticise the Israeli govt for the occupation of being bigots against Jews, I find the double standards yr displaying here at DU to be very telling...

In fact, I can easily imagine your favorite expression as a child being "I'm telling." And I have read many of the posts that you make to other people. Clearly, your intent is to pretend to engage with people until the point at which you start pushing the alert button. You aren't interested in people's views and opinions, you appear to be interested in trying to enforce a doctrinal view of things, including ignoring the obvious in some cases, in the world according to Violet. Have I tried to stop you from putting forth your viewpoint?
