Time again for another MrScorpio's Relatively Simple Solution For A Life's Complicated Problem
Health Insurance:

Make a law only for publicly traded health insurance companies that converts those shares bought to invest in those companies into insurance premiums for the share holders. Investors are also customers and vice versa.

This is great for everyone who "loves" market based solutions for America.

However for everyone else, Medicare for all. YAY!

1. Yo, Scorp…But always remember what H. L. Mencken said:
For every complex problem, there is a simple solution.

And it is wrong.

2. Thanks!
Anyone purchasing one of those share based premiums is a sucker of the first order.

Something has to be done to stop those people from fucking up the rest of our lives.

3. Mencken also said
"Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence* of the American people."

*Actually he said "taste," not "intelligence," but the point remains.
