why does B*sh have to read EVERYTHING he utters off a piece of paper?
Edited on Wed Apr-18-07 12:51 PM by npincus
Six years, and it still amazes me that the a--hole can't utter a few simple statements of condolence, or whatever the subject, without having it written down for him on a paper (presumably by another person). Nope, same shit, different day. Yesterday at Virgina Tech, idiot-son had to READ his words of condolence, instead of just speak from that shriveled-up thing... uh, his "heart" I believe it's called.

Seriously, what is wrong with him, that he can NEVER speak extemporaneously, even a couple of sentences? Do his handlers think he is that incapable? Or that he'll combust? We all know he's not a bright bulb, but how hard is it to say a couple of thoughful sounding words, without READING them. And when the a--hole reads his script, he cocks his head to one side as though to convince his audience he's sincere and/or credible.

I know this has been asked before, but I still can't figure out WHY he ALWAYS has to READ EVERYTHING that comes out of his mouth... can that be attributed to low IQ or is something else going on?

Yes, he's incapable. His best Bushism come from impromptu talk. His chit-chat is moronic.

10. LOL- "China is big!"
It's very hard to get a window into the --hole's world because he is so scripted. But I remember some of his chitchat was picked up on a mic at the same g-8 summit where he molested German Chancellor Merkel... oh, that was hilarious. Now I want to Google to find it....

"China is big!"

12. so's Brazil.
his discussion of muddle east politics with Blair was truly unique. Blair was playing the lapdog, nodding and agreeing with every idiotic misunderstanding that Bush had.

Chimpy's intellect and sophistication are startling! It's startling that a person could have so little and still move.

But his son's verbal vomit does have a lot to do with his ability to lead this country and the world. What I found to be the most damning is the least quoted part of Bush's comments. As you read this transcript, remember that this is not a small child talking, but the President of the United States of America:

The camera is focused elsewhere and it is not clear whom Bush is talking to, but possibly Chinese President Hu Jintao, a guest at the summit.

Bush: "Gotta go home. Got something to do tonight. Go to the airport, get on the airplane and go home. How about you? Where are you going? Home?

Bush: "This is your neighborhood. It doesn't take you long to get home. How long does it take you to get home?"

Reply is inaudible.

Bush: "Eight hours? Me too. Russia's a big country and you're a big country."

At this point, the president seems to bring someone else into the conversation.

Bush: "It takes him eight hours to fly home."

He turns his attention to a server.

Bush: "No, Diet Coke, Diet Coke."

He turns back to whomever he was talking with.

Bush: "It takes him eight hours to fly home. Eight hours. Russia's big and so is China."

Russia's big and so is China??????? This guys sounds like a third grader. Do you know anyone who would have a conversation like this with their neighbor, let alone a business associate, let alone a world leader? Who's proud to know that Russia is big and so is China?

25. He sounds developmentally disabled.
My sister works with developmentally disabled adults, and according to her, Bush's verbal abilities are like those of a fairly high-functioning DD with an IQ of maybe around 160 or so. It would be possible for a person with these abilities to hold a job, perhaps as a dish-washer or in a position that requires sorting, folding, putting things away. The conversation quoted above indicates the ability to link a couple of ideas together, but the speaker has to think about each idea very carefully.

Note, for instance, the careful attention to each step in the sentence:

"Gotta go home. Got something to do tonight. Go to the airport, get on the airplane and go home."

That this person is the president of the United States and Commander in Chief of the world's largest military, which is currently at war on two fronts, is truly appalling. Truly, truly appalling.

This is much worse than being a "C" student. This is evidence of the inability to function at a normal adult level.

I have great, great admiration for the many wonderful developmentally disabled people in the world. Most of them are far more thoughtful and kind than the person quoted above. They're also more conscientious and responsible.

Bush is like a developmentally disabled demon, rather than a human being.

6. He has no brain
and no heart. His brain is so fried from drugs (including alcohol) that he can't speak coherently. He also has a ghoulish fascination with death, and it could be his handlers were afraid if he were let loose to say what he wanted to, it would be something horrible.

Strong public speaking skills and a high comfort level with it are MANDATORY in a politician.

"The war on terror involves Saddam Hussein because of the nature of Saddam Hussein, the history of Saddam Hussein, and his willingness to terrorize himself."—Grand Rapids, Mich., Jan. 29, 2003

"You teach a child to read, and he or her will be able to pass a literacy test.''—Townsend, Tenn., Feb. 21, 2001

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we," Bush said.
"They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."

"Our nation must come together to unite."—Tampa, Fla., June 4, 2001

"Neither in French nor in English nor in Mexican."—Declining to answer reporters' questions at the Summit of the Americas, Quebec City, Canada, April 21, 2001

"I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully."—Saginaw, Mich., Sept. 29, 2000

32. Back in the "good old days", Clinton was giving a speech...
and the telprompter broke down somewherre in the middle. Clinton went on and no one but him and the staff knew anything was wrong; he is one of those rare orators that can wing it extemporaneously...:D

bush on the other hand, can't figure out a simple semtence if his life depended on it. If i could hack into the teleprompter, I'd add little things like, "we're fighting over there because we don't want to fight them here. I have a tiny dick and little nuts, the A-rabs scare me. So this surge will go on until I realize I am little more than an asshole that got put here to make people rich...the surge enriches my friends, and the rest of the country can kiss my ass"...:) The pinhead would just ramble on, not knowing what he said until someone finally got him to watch a tape of the speech.

Then, he could say, "hey, that guy looks just like me, great impression", and go back to ogling Rove's "package".

36. He speaks at about a 6th-grade level, I would say.
That's not considered good enough for a "world leader", so one of the grownups around him always writes out some "big people words" for him to read while everyone is looking at him.

I don't think Americans truly realize even yet just how vacant this little man really is.
