Congress: You're ALL a bunch of hypocrites!
YOU work for US. YOU are in office because WE voted to put you there. So why then do you have such a great health care benefit and we don't? You expect us to somehow deal with Medicare and what little is still left of Social Security, while you have a program that is second to none.

YOU expect US to work for minimum wage, which is not a living wage in any sense of interpretation, while you give yourselves raises year after year after year. And for what? A job well done? When the people you are working for are largely barely making it, your job performance rating should not justify big raises for yourselves.

YOU search everyone entering your place of work to make sure they don't have hand guns, to protect yourselves from crime, yet we are expected to be comfortable facing strangers on the streets and in our places of work who have concealed weapons, whether they are a responsible person or not.

It's time for the double standards to end. Stop the hypocrisy. If it isn't good enough for you, it isn't good enough for the American people. Stop judging others by different standards than you hold for yourselves.

1. They get your vote, but their money comes from wealthy special interests.
A couple hundred wealthy executives can donate the same amount of money that requires several thousand workers to raise. Does that sound fair?

3. No, it doesn't. I think campaigns should be publicly funded, with no private donations allowed.
And the perks should be cut out. ALL OF THEM.

If Congress meets with someone for a "working dinner" they should put it on their expense accounts, and not allow anyone else to pay for their meals. Or drinks. And they really shouldn't be drinking if they're working.

No Darren Stevens/Larry Tate martini lunches for members of Congress!

2. Impeach those sons of bitches in the WH and stop the war or get the hell out.
In November, Democrats had what may arguably be the clearest mandate in American history and they're still not listening.

4. Well done
I agree 100%

But what can we do about it? I get so discouraged with politicians, but I haven't given up yet.
