1. The conventional wisdom is coming to be that if the nut in NY-23 wins
that's better for the Democratic Party than if the Democrat wins because it will perpetuate the chaos in the GOP.

3. They have been talking about this for a month or so, can't wait for the
votes to be tallied so they can have Buchanan, Newt and the other GOP shits all over TV telling lies.

6. Yep. Lots of referendum talk tonight. Of course, we could counter
with the referendum on the Republican Party leadership.
The GOP is, once again, eating itself.
The teabag faction who worships Palin won't be led by Boehner, Steele, Newt, or Cantor. They fed this beast; now they'll feel the beast's claws.

5. It's "Super Tuesday" according to MSNBC
Apparently this off-off year election is the most important election in the history of America.

10. Sure sounds that way
They are making this little nothing of an election as elections go a referendum on Obama.

How totally fucking bazaar this nation has become.

Rush will probably make another "The Ego Has Landed" announcement like he did when, despite Obama's efforts, Chicago wasn't picked to host the Olympics. :puke: Of course, there's really NO conceivable way that the elections today, being that all but one of them are STATE contests and the one Congressional seat has been safely in Republican hands for over a century, can be looked at as a referendum on President Obama but we all know that the pundits and RW blowhards are/will be making it out to be all about Obama. :eyes: Yup. You Betcha'

9. Not just the crazies; corporate media as a whole will scream it.
If only one of the races is won by a candidate other than a Dem, it will spell danger in 2010 for Dems; it will mean hope and Obama's popularity are gone.

That'll be the message.

11. Last I looked 54% popularity
when you were elected by 53% ain't too shabby, particularly when compared to the alternative (GOP=25%). Not that anybody will bring that up in any corporate media discussion.
