Cheney travels in a plane named "Spirit of Strom Thurmond."
This was revealed by Wonkette.

It's a C-17 cargo plane and it carries an Airstream aluminum trailer in which the Cheney creature dwells. Aside from being a war criminal and a fascist, it would seem that he's also a Strom-loving bigot, not to mention flat out nuts.

I'm sure the next Democratic VP will also be stuck riding the "Spirit of Strom" or even her sister ship, "The Wings of Linda Tripp".

Mission

The C-17 Globemaster III is the newest purpose-built cargo aircraft to enter the United States and Western air forces. It is capable of rapid strategic delivery of troops and all types of cargo to main operating bases or directly to forward bases in the deployment area. It is also capable of performing tactical airlift, medical evacuation and airdrop missions.

In recent years the size and weight of U.S. mechanized firepower and equipment have grown, which has significantly increased air mobility requirements, particularly in the area of large or heavy outsize cargo. The C-17 can airlift such cargo close to a potential battle area.

36. I know. I SAW the plane with my own eyes when he attended Ford's funeral. He flew in on THAT plane.
It's sickening that the VP of the United States would be so BLATANTLY racist. I'm sure he chose that plane just to piss off Democrats though. That's his style.:(
