It is a media campaign. He wanted that guy to cut his hair. That's what it cost. Personally I want to find out if any of the candidates drink Starbucks, cause if Dennis Kucinich is paying $6 for a 50 cent cup of coffee, I will never support him.

Edited on Wed Apr-18-07 03:21 PM by GreenTea
These stupid anti Edward fucks don't have a fucking clue!

And what do you think other candidate 5 star restaurants cost when they travel using campaign donations for 5 star hotels, shopping necessities, that's all part of ALL candidates campaign expenditures...

10. This isn't a fucking official government disclosure. This is just John Dickerson's summary of what
he finds amusing.

9. What about hotels?
Should we support the candidate that stays at Motel 6? Would a candidate that sews his own clothes be more worthy?

12. Talk all you want about 5 star restaurants and hotels, but
the average Joe will balk at this.

It is the wrong path to win people over

15. The problem is the average Joe does not have a clue....it is so easy
to make something out of nothing...what surprised me is that some of the people here on DU also can get fooled.. it makes me wonder if the people here that thinks this is a big story and not that our country is
falling apart....health care, poverty, crooks in the WH, etc. should take priority over haircuts...if we had nothing else to worry about then this might be worthy of a discussion...

13. When people are struggling to pay for food and heat and a roof over their heads
yes,it is obscene.It's HAIR.

I haven't said I'd never support him because of this, but it's bullshit, and seeing people who have plenty of cash brush it away and say it's no big deal is sad.It shouldn't be played up like the media is going to do,I agree with that. But I see no reason why people can't grasp why some people who are struggling just to get by would find it offensive to spend that much money to take care of your HAIR.

11. Ridiculous! Howard Dean admitted he blew his funding on cheese and chocolates!
Edited on Wed Apr-18-07 03:45 PM by saracat
He gave gifts to supporters and hired major entertainment figures to perform.Big deal. And Edwards gets haircuts.

Be grateful we have a good looking candidate who looks good. No amount of money would make Bush look less like a chimp!

Why is everyone buying into this RW slant?
