This guy was responding to an editorial about Imus, where the editorial labeled a bunch of media personalities as "babbling bobblheads" - including Fox News, Rush, and also Rosie O'Donnel and Al Franken (why does Franken keep getting lumped into this crowd, as he is maybe the most reasonable & laid-back radio personality out there...)
But, Wilson wrote in complaining about lumping Fox News in with the babbling bobblhead crowd and how it was an insult.
Here is my response: >>>>
Mr. Wilson of South Windsor is correct because calling the people at Fox News “babbling bobbleheads” is an insult – to babbling bobbleheads. I think Al Franken was correct when he proved many of them to be “Lying Liars,” which seems to be more appropriate. I mean, Sean Hannity would not know the truth if George Washington and Abe Lincoln slapped him upside the head with it, and ditto for Bill O’Reilly. Don’t forget, O’Reilly almost came to blows with Geraldo Rivera recently in their on air shouting match. Oh, and going back a bit, who can forgot O’Reilly threatening the life of Al Franken, or his sordid sexual harassment affair? The worst liar, though, may be Brit Hume, who shamefully distorted and twisted everything related to Social Security and its history in his attempt to sell the Bush privatization plan. Or perhaps we can make it a question like Fox News “journalist” Neil Cavuto: “Fox News: Lying liars, or the media arm of the Republican Party?”
