Sorry everybody- my boyfriend is watching MSNBC and called me to report this. I'm not watching but he is very upset and says the reporting is very upsetting. Please watch if you can to see what they are saying about it.

EDIT- I have fixed the subject line. I am truly sorry everyone for my erroneous reporting but like I said, I was getting this second hand.

pic, but how would he include that in whatever package he sent. Of course we don't know if it was a physical package or electronic i guess.

..Brian Williams, anchor and managing editor of “NBC Nightly News,” said in a posting on the program’s “Daily Nightly” blog that the communication was received earlier Wednesday. He described it as a very long “multi-media manifesto.”

The network said it would release a statement shortly.

It's been turned over to the FBI. It contains a rambling message, a video and other things. It was prepared and sent after the 1st shootings.

but MSNBC has now turned this into their ongoing soap opera with their stay tuned for Brian Williams on the news. I am no longer sure who is sicker - the VT killer or MSM.

Did you notice this in the MSNBC web report re his sister.

The Princeton student newspaper reported Wednesday that she is pursuing a career as a State Department contractor working on the reconstruction of Iraq. It said that Sun-Kyung Cho was “palpably upset” when it contacted her and that she refused its requests for an interview.

Virginia State Police this afternoon also announced that NBC News received a package they believe was sent to the network by Cho.

NBC immediately alerted authorities, police say, and handed over copies of the contents, which included "multiple photographs, video and writings," according to Virginia State Police Superintendent Col. Steven Flaherty.

Authorities hope the package may help authorities better understand the killer's motivations as evidence of his previous mental issues mounts.

From the article, "The package, timestamped in the two-hour window between Monday's shootings, was sent to NBC News head Steve Capus.It contained digital photos of the gunman holding weapons and a manifesto that "rants against rich people and warns that he wants to get even," The Associated Press quoted an unidentified New York law enforcement official familiar with the case as saying."

Nothing in there indicates he actually filmed the first two murders or waited around to take pictures.

I usually try not to do that but my boyfriend sounded very upset and actually had some graphic details he said someone was reporting about the supposed filming. I guess we will know soon enough what is on that recording.

How could it had gotten mailed after? If he mailed it between the 1st and 2nd incidents there couldn't be filmed murders from Norris Hall.
And how the hell did he get it mailed? Guess he could have put it in his dorm's maildrop. If he left campus at all during those 2.5 hrs, VT will have to answer more questions about not locking down the campus after the 1st set of murders.

We also know it didn't contain "filmed murders."

We also know he went off campus to mail it. But many campuses have mailrooms on campus. Where he mailed it from is irrelevant and I think it's been well established that this was not a self-contained campus that could have been "locked down" anyway.

The lag time between the first murders and the rest is still chilling...that he had all this time between, and was so calm about, mailing off his package before he went off to kill more people and himself.

No way to put that much together in two hours. What a horrible, horrible thing for the parents, families and friends - to have to watch the MSM exploit, use, and thrash. It's undoubtedly good that law enforcement and profilers will have the material for research, but you can bet most of it will show up on MSM "special reports".
