Holy Shit! Just got this from the ODU President. WTF?
April 18, 2007


Dear Members of the Old Dominion University Community,


We just received a telephone threat which we are taking seriously. The caller said “There is going to be a shooting at ODU....”

We have increased security on campus and our police are working with the Norfolk City Police to insure safety and security on campus.

Please exercise caution and report any unusual activity to the campus police at 683-4000.

Students who choose not to attend class tonight will be accommodated.

10. I like the way you think!
When I was at school (late 60's early 70') there was a bomb scare at least once a week. . We sure didn't have screaming meemies with boom mics running all over campus asking us "how do you feel about that". .

I don't envy the kids.

9. shameful
i have a lot of friends working there and at NSU (my mom works there)...these middle-school pranks have GOT to stop before they overshadow something truly serious...i am reminded of those two kids playing that prank in "Jaws" that almost got shot....
