12. Literally took my breath away...
I don't want to see - but I have to. If only to try and filter the information out for Little MB. She is only 7 and they were discussing it at her school yesterday. She is a little young, I think, and I feel they were speaking reponsibly, but I need to know what this entails to filter it for her.

15. Oh, that's so not what I meant.
Jesus. All I meant was why do the images we see have to be of the killer? What about the vigil? What about the people coming together to help each other get through this. Why do people want to see the blood and the killer with the gun in his hand? Sure, tell the story, but why do we need to see pictures of the violence instead of the aftermath and people picking their lives up and trying to get through this?

I want to see this stuff -- I can't make sense out of something senseless, but I need to know what happened. This has been so shattering to so many of us here in VA. We know people personally affected by this. WE know the dead, the wounded, the survivors, the families and friends.

31. On the local ABC News affiliate, there's a female anchor who's just awful.
She can talk about a child being murdered and giggle right after the story as a segue into the next story...sick...sick...sick...

Of course, I rarely watched that station's news, and now after airing Path to 9/11 I don't watch ABC/Disney at all.
