A question in light of the SCOTUS abortion decision...
Do you Nader supporters still believe it made "no difference" whether Bush or Gore was elected in 2000? :grr:

2. I had lunch today with a 29 year old woman
who was very upset by the Court's decision. I reminded her that she didn't just vote for Nader in the past - she had worked as an inspired volunteer in his campaign.

She would not made the connection to the Supreme Court appointments until I made her make the connection. I also reminded her that I had this conversation with her back at the time and she blew me off.

Right now she is angry with me but she will get over it. Unlike my cat, she learns from her mistakes.

3. Thanks for doing that. We need to let people know that they're accountable for who they elect.
And they're accountable for being uninformed. Women may die because of this decision.

And what kind of "judicial temperment" was displayed by Supreme Court Justices referring to OB-Gyn physicians as "Abortion Doctors".

The only good thing I can see about this is that a lot of women may wake up and realize that these right-wing, power-hungry zealots would let them all die in order to maintain their power.

So maybe, finally, young women (and older women), will wake up and "throw the bums out."

Many so-called "Moderate Republican" women may have an awakening over this. If not this ruling, then the next one. It affects us, our daughters, our granddaughters, etc.
