Presenting the next school killer: Edward Ji of Frisco, Texas
Will they stop THIS one before he fulfills his ambition to be a serial killer?

A Frisco teen accused of shooting a 14-year-old boy and expressing an interest in serial killers was back in custody Wednesday after the district attorney’s office and his neighbors expressed concerns about his release on $100,000 bail.

Edward Ji, 17, was taken to the Collin County jail, after a meeting between the District Attorney’s office and a judge who determined that his bond was insufficient, Frisco police said. He was being held without bond pending a Grand Jury hearing Thursday.

Mr. Ji had been released to his parents Monday while he awaited trial in the random July shooting of Bryan Chevalier, who survived. Days before that shooting, Mr. Ji had shot at and missed a man walking his dog in a gated Frisco community, police said.

He faces two attempted capital murder charges and a deadly conduct charge, police said....

11. Plano?
I frequently shop in Frisco at Stonebriar and at Willow Bend. Scary to know that someone like this is so close to home.

18. No, Richardson.
The north part of Richardson crosses over into Collin County, so we're in the Plano schools.

Scary indeed. :scared:

4. More likely his behavior and comments, I would think
The kid is pretty seriously messed up. At least he has the decency, or stupidity, to tell everyone about it.

7. He is messed up, no doubt
however, he was released AND THEN re-arrested after his bond was already paid coincidentally right after the VA Tech shootings.

3. How do you know he's got ambitions to be a serial killer?
Why does due process keep going out the window every time there's a big sensationalist news story?

12. At least this is being addressed by the Justice system. Let's hope nothing happens while
he's out on bail. This sure should have all the red lights flashing.

14. Yes, and I am not the justice system
I have every right to say "I think OJ did it" or "the Duke Lacrosse boys are being railroaded" without affecting anyone's right to due process.

10. if my son/grandson/or any of the kids in my family said those things
they would first be offered mental help, if that didn't work, I guess they'd have to see how the correction system works. I apologize for sounding harsh, but jesus on a greyhound, what does it take to figure out someone has problems? He already shot someone, do we as parents just kick back and say "well, we tried to get him help, but he just didn't want it"????

17. It's easy to say what should've been done after the fact.
However, I doubt anyone outside of a handful of people have all the facts. And mental illness is not entirely predictable. Every time there's a crime the media shoves down our throats to keep our attentions off of something more important, the armchair CSIs come out en masse.
