If they insist on coverage, then I say let them cover what is going on in Iraq with the same intensity and the same level of detail.

How many kids are shot over there or bombed on a daily basis? Are their losses any worse than ours? I don't think so, a family is a family is a family no matter what their ethnicity.

I suppose I could turn on ET and watch Larry Birkhead and Virgie and Howard fight over the baby....such a hard choice.

to spin up more controversy. They were talking to some of the parents and asked the question regarding why the Dean did not notify students after the first shooting. No one showed any anymosity but a voice said, "Next Question." Our local news is keeping it on all the time too. I just want to watch Larry King Live tonight as this Hui guys swuitemates are going to be on.

and once a week from (gulp) The Richmond Times-Dispatch. There is absolutely no reason to watch Fluff Witless, Chris Mad-Spews or the rest of the idiot brigade. My television is tuned to USA every night for Law and Order: SVU or CI. If that's not on, we watch Discovery or National geographic. Those talking heads (and the people who get their news from them) are pathetic!
