I Don't Want To Rattle Anyone About Edward's Hair But We All Know...

Ok, I know this is going to be controversial, but I just had to bring it up. Hair. That's right hair. Oh, you purists can laugh if you want - sure positions on issues are important, but let's be realistic. In the real world, hair matters. A successful candidate needs good hair - period end of story. Focus groups show that a candidate with bad hair but the right positions does worse than a candidate with good hair and the wrong positions. It doesn't really matter whether you "like" that or not, that is the way it is. So you can whine and wail all you want about your fantasy world and left wing idealism. If you want to be serious about electoral politics let me know - otherwise get out of the way so those of us who are serious can get the job done.

You forgot how important weight and height are :shrug: -I have yet to hear a media personality mention Kucinich without commenting on his stature ("the diminutive Kucinich","leprechaun-like" :eyes:) and apparently Gore can't consider running for the pretzeldency at his current weight.

Is this the only time peole give a damn about discussing him? When it can be POLITICAL? God forbid people discuss his training sessions in Nashville with such vigor. He isn't a candidate, leave his hair alone... and THIS I believe is precisely why.

A. Gore--A bit outdated though. He's wearing it more slicked back now & it's thinnner across the top.

B. Kucinich--Can't miss that--is that a toupee? Whatever he paid for his 'do it was too much.

C. Feingold--

D. Kerry--Pretty unmistakable not to mention gravity defying

E. Edwards--Nice haircut but is it $400 not to mention a good part of his gravitas?

That was fun.

And people who have a lot of money get to buy nicer stuff than people who don't, including houses and haircuts. The problem is not that rich people get to have better stuff; the problem (as Edwards points out) is that today poor people have no hope of ever becoming rich. The cost of Edwards' haircut and house have nothing to do with fixing that problem.

And anyways, I agree that Edwards as a politician needs a good haircut. I guarantee Nixon wished he had thought about that kind of thing back in 1960.

There were some supporters trying to get Gore to switch his part, IIRC.
