I get it!!!!! The healthcare bill is just a jobs bill in disguise.
It will definitely create jobs.

No ya say? How ya ask?

Building prison after prison , to house all the jobless people and working poor that are barely being able to keep a roof over their heads and feed their families, that can't afford insurance at any price. It is an idiotic idea to force people to buy health insurance and make it a crime if you don't It. is utterly unconstitutional and not even covered by the 10th Amendment, it's beyond belief!

At any rate I don't think this abortion of a bill is going to fly in the Senate.....I sure as hell wouldn't vote yea on the bill as it is...not if I expected to be reelected.

The penalty IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO CAN AFFORD IT and don't pay.

For those who cannot pay, THERE IS ASSISTANCE. LOTS OF ASSISTANCE. TONS OF ASSISTANCE. GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CARDS.

This is getting as bad as freeperville.

9. You have no clue about my personal financial situation.
I won't bore you but don't think you are the only one suffering.

A bad bill is a bad bill.

10. just not true... For many people who are middle income earners who
make more than the top level of subsidies (about 43K/yr for one person), the cost of a premium is about 5K/year, and the copays and deductibles can amount to another 5K/year. In this economy I don't think too many people have that 10K sitting fallow, waiting to be gobbled up by insurance corporations!

The bill, as it stands now, is unaffordable for middle income people. The risk for not purchasing insurance is a fine and jail! That's just absurd. This bill transfers MASSIVE amounts of money from we, the people, to insurance corporations! Isn't there something very very wrong with that??!!?? I think so. I'm a health practitioner. I deal with this stuff every day.

11. The very best thing the Democrats could do is let this bill FAIL!
Then come back next year and shove through a bill that 65% - 70% of Americans want, which includes at LEAST a Strong Public Option and NO giveaways to the Insurance Industry. It would be right before the election, and the Democrats would actually PICK UP seats, instead of facing losing them over this piece of shit.

Forcing Americans to buy overpriced and useless health insurance from the Insurance Industry is a deal breaker and BIG LOSER for the Democrats. If you thought Clinton's Health Care failure was bad for the Democrats, wait until this Insurance Industry shit hits the fan.

So while it will pass the Senate (to your chagrin), it won't create the types of jobs you describe.
