Is Pataki Eyeing a Presidential Bid?

Former New York Gov. George Pataki (R) will headline a Republican fundraising dinner in Iowa tomorrow, the Des Moines Register reports.

Pataki, who once considered seeking the 2008 presidential nomination, has visited Iowa once already this year.

3. Pataki, Pawlenty, and all the other GOOPers who have
suddenly found their conservative beliefs are the last people who will be selected as candidates. They are neither conservative nor liberal. They bend in the wind like bamboo.

Let them confuse the GOOP. Let them blow as hard as they can. They'll work well toward dividing the party and, perhaps, will make it possible for a Democratic majority to survive long enough to actually accomplish something.

We should not be expending any mental energy wondering about which of the morons on the GOOPer side get the 2012 nomination. Instead, we should be devoting our energies toward replacing the Blue Cur Democrats who are blocking progress. Nothing else matters right now.

7. Well my land. Pataki rears his muddled head over the pig farms of Iowa.
Wow, this GOP primary season is going to be entertaining.
