Orly Taitz: If the Military Was Smarter, It Could Have Prevented Fort Hood
By David Weigel 11/10/09 9:17 AM

Orly Taitz, who really seems to be staring down the end of her 15 minutes of fame, has filed a motion of reconsideration in Barnett et al v. Obama et al, her California “birther” lawsuit that was dismissed on Oct. 29. It’s the usual Taitzian ramble of made-up facts and cries for revenge — Taitz calls herself “the only attorney brave enough to bring most of eligibility legal actions, to bring actions from plaintiffs with real standing, the only one to get any hearings”–but there’s a classy new twist in her argument that the courts must allow soldiers to disobey the commander in chief.

Recent terrorist incident at Fort Hood has given this question paramount importance. This order has advocated blind obedience by the members of the military. If someone were to have common sense, brains and strength of character to challenge allegiance of Nidal Malik Hasan in court, after he made numerous anti-American and antimilitary statements, maybe 12 young boys wouldn’t be 6 feet under today, maybe 12 mothers and 12 fathers wouldn’t had their hearts ripped out of their chests and torn apart.

It’s stuff like this that’s pitted the less media-crazy “birthers” against Taitz for months now.

1. If Republicon Homelanders were smarter
They would shut their kool-aid dribbling gobs, and try to act like Americans.

3. If the military had to remove soldiers, sailors, airmen, etc. b/c they had an
allegiance to Jesus before the Constitution, the ranks would be paltry.

With all your military service, I'm sure you're an expert.
She just needs to go away. And the sooner the better.

11. I'm prepared to give her 30-45 min of fame so long as she's tagged...

for being the anti-American foreign agent provocateur she is when the egg timer goes ding! Some say almost poetically; that Taitz is proof of how great America and The Constitution really are, so able to accept so many opposing opinions in the various names of freedom & liberty

But I say she, and others like her, including the republican party, are here to use The Constitution against itself thus proving the fallacy of it's words: freedom of speech indeed!

Taitz & Limbaugh are already tying the Hood incident to a broader Obama disinclination to understand the seriousness of the world; Limbaugh's opinion being very dangerous in that in goes to armed forces radio

Someone needs to tell Taitz that America is more than the opportunity to run into a women's restroom, lock the door, and start scribbling lies & bullshit on the shit-house wall. Taitz and her husband are spooks, they are not here to make America any better for Americans, they're here to make her ill

13. If so many lives and so much money (that could have been used for
something like, say, health care) had not been wasted over the last several years on senseless wars - there would not be so many minds bent and twisted with PTSD or other ailments that lead to this sort of thing.

Bring them home. Stop the carnage. Problem eased.

14. Another Gift That Keeps Giving...
Problem is she's becoming so irrelevant that no matter how outrageous she is, what stupid things pour from her piehole, no one pays attention.

Now isn't the clock ticking on her paying the $10,000 fine for contempt of court? Someone needs to photoshop her into an orange jump suit. Nah, let's wait a little while...it'll either be the orange or a white straight jacket.
