Happy 234th birthday, U.S. Marine Corps
I looked to see if there was a similar thread on the 234th anniversary of the forming of the United States Marine Corps, but I didn't see one. So let me be the first to say "hoo-rah" to all Marines, past and present (and future?) for doing jobs that most Americans don't want to do.

1. Yep , and please rebrand into civil and humanitarian activities
like cleaning roads , building dams , caring for the homeless. Enough with the bloodshed business and being pawns of imperial power.

Our platoon had the distinction of actually having 2 DI's removed for brutality. Rifle butts used on boots leave marks.
