What the fuck? I have seen this kid described here as "intelligent, smart, clever, and has "moxie". Jesus fucking Christ is this how low we'll stoop to "get" someone? Here we have a fucking kid who knocked up an underage high school girl. Then he went on national TV with her family who happened to be in the running for VP of the U.S.A.(under the guise of a family values candidate) to claim that he was going to marry her, because had he not then Palin's candidacy would have been in the toilet. Then his soon to be mother-in-law, whom he just saved face for, goes completely mental calling the opposition a "terrorist sympathizer". She loses.

Well thank god, now Mr Moxie can get himself out of this sham of an engagement, and go back to his little Alaska town and start doing what is best for his kid.... Wait... what's that you say? He's on Larry King? He's in Playgirl? He's talking about taking acting and modeling jobs? He's shamelessly trying to use the fact that he was dumb enough to knock up the VP candidates kid as a springboard for a career in Hollywood? Yeah this kid is a fucking prince. A role model. He's got spunk and moxie. Maybe he ought to use some of that "moxie" to get down to the court house and fight for his rights to see his child.

He's a selfish little self promoting prick and should DU continue to raise him up to the level that they do real activists then I really should be questioning whether I still belong here or not.

Remove the blinders. Less than a year ago this little moron was totally hated here. But I'm sure he's a totally different person now.

But then again, a Myspace page is a pretty poor method by which to judge a person. Everything I've heard about him since makes me like him more. Yeah, a lot of it is because he's a thorn in Palin's side, but I don't think he's got a mean bone in his body and is doing what he can to spend more quality time with his son.

I read the whole thread. Whatever praise there is is in the context of appreciation that he's a pain in Palin's ass. And there's no shortage of calling him an asshole or an idiot.

This kid stood up for Palin to be VP. He lied about wanting to marry her daughter so Palin's campaign could continue to use the "family values" platform. This kid tried to help Sarah Palin get elected and now he's a hero to DU because he's speaking out against her. He had all this "damaging information" about her and yet campaigned for her anyway? Sorry I don't see a single redeeming value in this kid.

I know a kid who knocked up a girl in high school. He quit school to get a job so he could marry her and take care of his family. He works two jobs while she takes care of the baby and goes to school at night online. Those are real hero's.

I can't get worked up over these people, one way or the other. There's a lot of stupid shit at DU that I don't give a crap about. Why shouldn't he profit from his celebrity if he wants to? If a porn site gave me a lot of money to pose naked for them, I would, too... He hasn't been cruel to Bristol, he hasn't been cruel to his child, the only person he's been mean to at all is Sarah Palin, and she deserves every bit of it.

I really don't see how the whole sordid ordeal benefits Palin's future political ambitions (if she has them) but everyone who buys into this shouldn't be shocked when there's a big family reconciliation just before the 2011/2012 primary season with Levi offering to "man up" and make an honest woman out of Bristol.

Levi was co-opted and used as chattel by Palin and the GOP. You really think he had a choice in the matter? He was used like a cut out doll. And this 'underage high school girl' this is odd, as they were bloody classmates! He's not some 30 year old, he's her age, her peer.
And after he'd had his life made into political salad and been the brunt of national jokes for the sake of Bristol's Mom, I think he's wise to be making money out of the whole thing.
