Poll: 70% think Palin is unqualified to be president - 67% say Hillary is qualified to be president
http://www.swamppolitics.com/news/politics/blog/2009/11/sarah_palin_hillary_clinton_pr.html

Sarah Palin has a book, Going Rogue.

Hillary Clinton has a book, It Takes a Village.

But on the eve of the release of Palin's memoirs, a day in which Palin is appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show and Clinton is traveling through China as secretary of state, Palin does not have what it takes to be president, most surveyed say.

But Clinton does.

Just 28 percent of those surveyed by the post-Lou Dobbs CNN and Opinion Research Corp. say Palin, the former governor of Alaska, is qualified to serve as president -- and 70 percent say she is not. snip

Yet Clinton, who was favored to win the Democratic nomination for president last year until someone from Chicago had the "audacity'' to hope -- and "The Audacity to Win,'' as campaign manager David Plouffe has entitled his own book -- is viewed by two-thirds of those surveyed as qualified to be president. The former first lady has the confidence of 67 percent of those surveyed, with 32 percent saying no.

Yet Clinton says she has no interest in running again.

3. It's just not a fair comparison. It's unfair to Palin and denegrates Clinton to be compared to her.
Clinton will be too old in 2016

9. It does show that people can't dismiss the #'s for Palin as sexism because
everybody (except for teabaggers) knows Hillary is perfectly qualified to be President.

15. She'd be three years younger than John McCain was in 2008
and those three years in dog lady years is more like ten. Unlike McCain with his seventy-five pound medical chart, Hillary would be very fit to run, but smart enough not to.

7. Like Bush was qualified?
It's all about how they market her to the masses and make sure she has her own 'Dick Cheney' to run the country.

8. It's too late. The perception is already out there.
No amount of marketing will help. When Bush ran he didn't flop nearly a badly in the early stages of his introduction to the American people. Palin did and now she's toast.

10. That's like comparing a teabagger moron to a decent intelligent person.
Literally.

And she's a quitter. Can't leave that out.

11. One is an intellectual who always has something interesting to say,
whether you agree with her or not.

The other one is expert in moose calls and can skin a moose and cut out its liver for a raw snack.
