Fear not Sarah Palin.
Mock her, deride her, discuss her, let's help keep her a Republican contender.

But one thing you need not do is fear Sarah Palin.

When I see fellow DU'ers panic about her I don't like it. Sarah Palin is very good for the DEMOCRATIC Party. She is unelectable, fear not her candidacy. Rejoice that she is loved by so many whack a doodles. Rejoice that she commands so much media attention. We can only hope she runs and is the Republican runner for POTUS in 2012.

Republican bloggers like to say we are afraid of her. We do discuss her, but it is not fear. We watch her with jaws dropped, discussing her is unavoidable. But do we fear her. Hell no. Not a bit.

Fear not Sarah Palin fellow DU'ers.

3. I'm sorry, but I confess...
It's not fear, but for me, there is concern.

You must excuse me, but I'm from Texas, and I thought it was obvious to the WORLD that George Bush was an idiot...but then look what happened!

I don't take anything in politics for granted these days.

Don't get me wrong - I hope all that the OP writes is absolutely correct.

4. My father, a dyed in the wool democrat and liberal, voted for Pat Buchanan.
In the primaries, of course. He even switched his party registration to do it. He believed that there would be no possible way that this country could elect anyone as batshit insane as ol' Pat. Maybe he's right, but after a second stolen election in 2004, I feel he might have made it there by hook or by crook. As for Palin, I agree with you. If she runs in 2012, I'll switch my party registration to vote for her.

6. Fear no. Embarrassed yes.
I'm really tired of the stupid ugly Americans giving us such a horrible reputation as a nation of idiots. I like the rest of the world and I wish we could become part of it. We're like the red neck cousins of the world who the family wants to disown.

8. I am hoping she runs
I am planning to savor watching her be run over the coals by the other contenders. They are not going to sit back, be polite and let her take the nomination.

And there is just so much fuel for the fodder.

9. I would imagine the "big boys" of the party will have a lot to say about
whether Palin is a contender or not. I wouldn't be surprised if she ran as a third party candidate. But if the boys in control throw her under the bus, which I'm sure in their sane moments, they will, there will be such an outcry from the right fringe and a real fight within the party. Their convention is going to be must see tv, no doubt about it. She's no contender, she's a thorn in the side of those who make these decisions...

10. While everything you say is true,
I do believe she's dangerous, in that she riles up the crazies on the far right. Given the Psalms 109 thing, you never know what they might try to pull off.
