when I hear these people braying that line. They want to go back to the "good old days", when minorities, women and gay folks were in "their place". How people can associate this nonsense with the message of Christ is beyond me; treat others as you wish to be treated and protect/help the least among you.

AS far as women, and unions, and education are concerned the Democrats don't have much to be proud of either. I want the Democratic Party who believed in "choice", women's rights, gender equality,unions, and civil rights for all back! That being said, the tea baggers America is NOT one I want back either.

The one where UC students paid NOTHING in tuition or fees. 1960's to early 80s.
