"Coughing Man" versus "The Umbrella Man"
Edited on Thu Apr-19-07 07:31 PM by PCIntern
Those of you who watched or interestingly, listened to the hearings today may have heard a man in the background coughing periodically, usually during the asking of a question. If you correlate the occurrences, you might notice that occasionally, the AG changed the TONE of his answers at the terminus of the cough. No lie...we have the video/audio.

For those of you too young to remember or are not assassination buffs, there was a gentleman in Dealey plaza you-know-when who had an umbrella which he raised by the curb right near you-know-who. Years later he was called to the House Assasination Committee investigation and they made a joke of the whole thing...he claimed that he had the original umbrella which opened in a broken fashion and everyone had a good laugh. Big joke.

Someone somewhere needs to place the coughs and their nature next to a transcript and the video so that we can see what was going on.

1. Someone needs to put a name to the cough.
The trail will lead to Rove.

3. I noticed "the cough" too. How obvious can ya get.

This was done on Englands (I think) version of Who Wants
To Be A Millionaire. The cougher and contestant were found out.
It was hillarious. That cougher sounded a lot like this cougher.

4. Interesting....I noticed the coughing, but I didn't relate it to Gonzo's testimony.

5. it sort of went like this:
"(Hostile as Hell) Senator, I take real exception to your statement..." -cough..cough.cough- "and I want you to know that I've tried real hard to do it really really nicely 'cause I'm a nice guy, you know, and I know you and your staff are too, sir. Thank you for your question, sir."
