Up, up and away: Gas prices soar in 2007

The data is from gasbuddy.com. Local gas prices have scaled new records in many places and, with the approach of summer, prices are expected to go up further. AAA is not optimistic that the average will stay below $3 per gallon.

1. It will go as high as possible without making alternative fuels cost effective.

2. Hmm, how odd...
How strange it is that the price of crude oil has dropped by about $2.50 in the month of April, yet gasoline prices have continued to rise! Hmm, how very unexpected! Oh, the surprise, the shock! Whatever could be causing this? Certainly, it's no wrongdoing on the parts of the oil companies! They would never charge the American people more than was necessary!

3. I still wonder why the Dems aren't doing anything to curb oil prices.
They cant put a cap on gas prices (Kennedy tried that and we all know what happened to him), but they could certainly do something to relieve us of how fucking expensive it is.

6. How does that work?
Why would a wind fall profits tax be a good idea? I don't know how it works and how it would affect gas prices. Is there an article that explains it in simple terms?

the last laugh? They don't give a fuck about us...Force us to talk about something else besides their obvious corruption, but we won't this time and they are taking full advantage...fucking republicans...They continue to gouge us and then slide on by.

Killing & kids dying is easy for their war for profit.

They'll leave with fat off shore bank accounts putting our country in bankruptcy...and laugh, while wanting to proceed with their ideology, agenda & philosophy for the future, next chance they get.

As they lie distort smear & tear down to blame every Dem to get back in office to proceed with their fascism.
