6. Thanks
we like the looks of this one better than any of the others plus we really like the way this one works. All automatic, when its not too cold it only burns a little and when the temp drops the fire gets bigger, just enough to keep the same temperature in the house.

2. that is beautiful--how is it working out? by the way, if you keep a cast iron tea kettle on top,
it works as a humidifier, and, you always have hot water for tea!!

4. We're loving this one
On our last one when the thermostat said it was warm enough the stove would simply shut down where as this one just monitors the room temp and keeps the fire at just the right amount, when it's cold it has a bigger fire. We almost bought this stove when we bought the last one, about 4 or 5 years ago, that we've passed down to our kids btw but we didn't want to spend the extra money then that this one cost but with the tax credit we can afford this and be helping the kids out too. Our other choices for heat is propane, electric or wood and all three of those suck. Pellet stoves on the other hand works great.

7. That's beautiful. .How does it vent?
Is there a hole in the wall behind it?

8. Yes I go directly through the wall with a three inch double wall pipe
through whats called a wall thimble. The combustion air is also brought through the wall from the outside so as to not put the house under low pressure where air would be drawn in through the cracks here and there like around windows and doors.

If this year is anything like the last 19 this winter we'll go through two tons of pellets which this winter are costing 240 bucks a ton.
