Tonight's J. Danforth Quayle Award For Republican Stupidity goes to MICHELLE BACHMAN & SARAH PALIN

"Verbosity leads to unclear, inarticulate things."

J. Danforth Quayle
Vice-President of the United States
1989-1993

Bachmann and Palin to unite for Tea Party convention.

Sarah Palin will star as the keynote speaker at next February’s First National Tea Party Convention, which will take place in Nashville, TN. Also attending: Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN). The right-wing Minnesota congresswoman has previously asserted that Democrats are trying to “sabotage” both her and Palin “to make sure that we don’t have a prominent national voice.” The Washington Independent reports that tickets to see the Bachmann/Palin show “are available for the bargain price of $549.”

Anyone paying $549 for this brain dead babble-fest deserves a stupidity award as well.

3. The real award should go to the fools who pay that
to see the batshit crazy duo demonstrate the entire contents of the DSM-IV in one evening.

The mind boggles.

Condolences to friends in Nashville. The town will be crawling with even more crazies than usual that week.

4. The question is ...

... who is more stupid; these two clowns or anyone who will pay that price to see such a freak show?

The Stupid Field should be strong in Nashville that day. Cell phone traffic will even be interrupted.

5. Why do the same people win this award every year?
Can't these women dial it down next year and let some up-and-coming wingnut idiots take the coveted statuette home for a change? I am, however, looking forward to the red carpet fashions!

with very special guest, Orly Taitz.

7. In The Words Of Obi-Wan Kenobi............
..........."Who's more foolish? The fool, or the fool who follows him?"

Sounds like a plot to separate the ignorant from their 500 bucks. Why is it that it's almost always Creationists who prove Darwin right time after time?

8. Dan Quayle was thoughtful and intelligent compared to today's Repukes.
Actually met and spoke with Marilyn Quayle in 1987. She was a reasonable person then. Changed her tune fast, though. Still, I give them both credit for not being "in your face" types like Bachmann and Palin. I hate to say it, but Dan Quayle would be far too moderate to be any kind of player in today's GOP madhouse.

9. I know how they arrived at the $549 price.
5+4+9= 18, which happens to be the cumulative IQ of these two incredible dipshits.
