Just called ALL of my senators, congresspeople
let them all have it, even the republican ones.
Told them not to fund this escalation, or support it.
I was also told that their phones are ringing off the hook AGAINST the escalation.

Keep calling.

5. I contacted my Senators and Congressperson,
and told them that I am grateful that we now have a President who has a plan which will bring this war to an end, and that I suggested they support this President in the quest to end the war that someone else started, instead of tying his hands behind his back, mounting him onto a tightrope, and taunting him as he attempts to get this shit resolved once and for all.

I remind both of my Senators of the unanimous vote to give authorization of this war to Bush, and requested that they at least support this President fixing that mistake in the only way that he realistically can. I told them that I appreciate our fighting forces, and although I am sad for them to have to continue to fight this war, that unlike yesterday, we now know this war will not go on endlessly without a plan and a determination to get out. I told them that I appreciated this change after 8 years of status quo without an end in sight. I reminded them that war is hell, but that the endless war routine was batshit crazy.

6. I concur. There is no way that the President will ever make a
mistake or a misjudgement. He is the most wonderful gift to world in my lifetime!
