Isn't it all over but the shouting and finger pointing?

I agree with Dr. Howard Dean's assessment that, without a good public option, the Health Care Reform bill doesn't constiture real reform. Without a public option, we're left with an insurance company bailout.

So what is left to get excited about? What is left but a very pale suggestion of what might have been? Do we really need to leave our lipstick all over Republican and Blue Dog asses for THIS?

Pull back, introduce a decent and responsible HCR bill and vote on it: up or down. Then let's let everyone involved in this drawn-out farce face the voters. At some point, we have to live with our failures, even those that coulda/shoulda been avoided.

Continuing to kiss ass and make nice with the insurance company whores is accomplishing nothing and is making us look craven and foolish.

A no brainer. Really. Oh god...

That's very likely to happen if this turd of a bill becomes law.
