Will the "Clintonistas" support a nominee other than Hillary?

When I mean "Clintonistas" I don't necessarily mean the Clinton's themselves, but their hard-core establishment supporters, such as Carville, Begala, and McAuliffe. They have done nothing but bash Dean since 2004, and have tried to pull the proverbial rug from out underneath him. My question is...if Hillary gets defeated, and the nominee is someone else, especially if it's Obama or Edwards, then will the Clintonistas/DLC core support him? Or will they simply offer lip service support (like what McCain did with Duyba in 2000, and some Democrats merely did with McGovern in 1972) and otherwise sit on their hands and get their donors to withhold money?
