Some things just make you go huh?
I read another forum for birdcarving - as I am a birdcarver by hobby.

so - on this one website, one fellow, a good old boy from Deleware, who does not have much good to say about Obama, said something about Al Gore very sarcastically. They were discussing a blizzard. And this guy latches onto this news of a blizzard to cynically question global warming - something about Al Gore being Chicken little.....and then, in the very same post...the exact same one....hopes that the winter storm will kickstart the migration. (he is a duck hunter)He has seen very few ducks this year. Sadly, his season is over next week - and apparently, according to him, it has been so warm up north, the birds are not migrating the way they normally do.

I no longer post on that forum - but still read it. But I gotta wonder - here is a hunter who sees it with his own eyes - and still calls Al Gore - chicken little.

Maybe if the next five years are as bad or worse for his hunting - then he might actually think that Al Gore may of been onto something...then again....he would sooner choke and die rather than admit it.

1. I use climate change as opposed to global warming
and then it makes more sense to most people I speak with about it. :D

4. that is what they don't understand about the overview
it will be colder in some parts of the world where it hadn't been before, it'll be warmer in others than before. All I can say is, when I was a kid, we never heard of tornados in December in Iowa. Was that because the medial didn't report them?

6. They don't understand - because they don't want to
There are allot of people who think that Al Gore is hyping it up to make a buck - or a fortune. This person would fall into that category even though he feels it directly through his hobby - he will still adamently deny it.

9. The typical confusion of weather, which is
a meteorological event, with climate, which is the long-term average of the weather in a region.

Yes, in Alaska we're seeing effects of climate change in very reliable measures of long-term change, permafrost temperature, for example.

It's funny, when Palin was governor she was all about climate change--there was federal money in it. Now Caribou Barbie is one of the most vocal deniers.

10. Because the little tickle he gets in his dick from insulting Al Gore is more pleasant than thestress
of recognizing reality.

Saw HUGE flocks of geese/ducks flying eastbound out of DIA. Bird strike weather. I was wondering how we managed to land safely.
