I admire you folks who can watch the Sunday morning newsers
without throwing something through the TV.
I tried again today and almost lost it with Gregory.
He doesn't even attempt to hide his leanings, does he.
I wonder if Andrea Mitchell gets upset with all those lip marks on old Alan's butt?

2. Larry Summers was on earlier on STU
then some senators (Va, SD) regarding various spending bills. They both looked like Ken dolls.

3. Tivo or DVR is your friend
I used to watch the shows as they came on and had to sit through the usual cast of lugnets and neocons. Now I DVR the shows and skip through as soon as I detect the usual claptrap. I can "watch" Stephanouloulous, Fixed Noise, Meat The Prick, Face The Boredom and John King's RNC Report in a half an hour on most Sundays.

9. If I didn't watch, how would I know that most Americans are against health care reform?
Or that this is a "center-right nation?"

10. I don't watch any news.
There's not enough news on tv and radio news to make it worth watching.

It's hard to pick legitimate news out of the spin and commentary, which I'm not looking for.

Give me the news, and I'll interpret it myself. I don't need an army of talking heads to tell me what to think about the news, or to frame it to try to get a particular reaction from me.

I read news. Online, and in print. While there is still spin there, I can sort it out more quickly, looking for actual news, reading than listening to someone yammer on. I'm also not adding to any news programs' ratings.

11. It's much less painful
to read about it in Jason Linkins' Sunday Talking Heads column:
