WSJ: White House Puts Jobs Over Deficit
Sounds just like the Bush Administration priorities.

Top White House economic advisers on Sunday delivered a unified message that creating jobs would take priority over tackling the ballooning federal deficit, and suggested that employment growth could resume by spring, more optimistic than previous forecasts.

The comments came as the White House and Congress work out the details of a job-creation bill. Many Republicans and some Democrats have voiced growing concern over the federal deficit, which stood at $1.4 trillion for the year ended Sept. 30.

2. Jobs over deficit? Sounds good to me. And the rethugs are NOW
concerned about the deficit, when they cranked it up to begin with?

Kind of funny they're not worried about jobs. I wish their constituents cared about their assholeness.

5. I swear...
It never ceases to amaze me how some of our "DU friends" are so consumed by hatred for Obama that they've lost all touch with reality. This one is especially

4. Like Bush?
I understand that you may love that little talking point but how exactly is this an example of Obama mirroring Bush's priorities?

Would you rather he focued on the deficit than jobs? Then we would hear wailing from all corners...

9. Actually, if you look deeper into history...
...you will find that this is almost exactly the same as Hitler's priorities. And as we all know, Hitler was a Very Bad Man (TM) Why won't Obama just admit that he's a Nazi?

10. This is a good move. Deficits can and should be paid down when the economy is doing well, instead..
of tax cuts.
