1. My two Senators won't listen
I'm stuck down here in Texas. Hopefully we'll replace Kay Bailout Hutchison with John Sharp next year.

2. I don't think single payer can be set up through reconciliation without
a revolution occurring. I want it, but not that way. "A public option" would have to be created - again, I think that might be outside the boundaries of reconciliation. BUT Medicare does already exsist and is budgeted by Congress - I think you could open it up as a temporary solution that might end up as the permanent one.

7. I have them on speed dial thank you very much.
I have haranguaged them about issues for so long we are practically on a first name basis.

DeMint is too busy trying to be King, Emperor, or Grand Poobah. He doesn't listen to anything.

Graham is running for his life because he dared say he might work with Kerry on Cap 'n' Crunch.

8. Bles your heart, for the thought.
I realized calling my elected officials had no value after the TARP fiasco.
Despite a well publicized and admitted 100 to 1 against it outcry by the voters, across the country,
99% of Congress voted for TARP.
That was the day I knew we truly had ceased to be a voice in our own poltical process.
To date, I have not been proved wrong.
I no longer listen to what they say in DC..I watch what they DO.
So far, they have not done much to help me and my family.

9. I heard in an interview with KO and Wyden
That they cannot go the route of reconciliation to get some of the options they want.
Please listen to last night's interview to understand what it means.
